Why “Daddy’s” sushi and not “Mommy’s”?

Opening your own restaurant, where every visitor will feel a pleasant aftertaste from the food, atmosphere and service, is an idea that originated in Ukraine. Unfortunately, or fortunately, the dreams remained there. People say: “Wherever a person goes, he takes himself with him everywhere,” so the idea found a place in Lithuania.

We are a Ukrainian family who came to Lithuania to get pleasant impressions from its beauty, culture and interesting traditions. And, at the same time, in order to celebrate my birthday. But circumstances have developed in such a way that we will now implement all our plans in Lithuania.

We started our journey here with our first job together in the kitchen of a pizzeria. There we met interesting people, began to study the language with them, learned about the holidays, traditions and national dishes of the country. Anton even managed to work in the restaurant of a spa center in Birštonas. And then we asked ourselves: why not put our talent into our own business?

Anton Fedotov is a Ukrainian chef who has studied and worked in the culinary field all his adult life. But we will tell you more about this in the next article. I, Daria Fedotova, am a linguist teacher, so I learn Lithuanian on my own and teach my husband. Combining our knowledge and skills, we decided to open our own small business: Anton cooks deliciously and beautifully, I take orders and am actively involved in social networks.

But we are not going to stop there. What we have now is the first and very important step for our family. And then there will be more.

Now do you understand why sushi is “daddy’s”? Anton approaches his work not only responsibly, but also with all the “fatherly” care and love. Because “Tevukas (daddy’s) Sushi” is a dream, and dreams should come true.
